GIVE YOUR VOICE
TO A CHILD!

CASA Child Advocates are the
voice for children like...

 Johnny, Age 9
Johnny was diagnosed with hyperactivity and is hearing impaired.
After being molested by a neighbor, he was removed from his mother's home and placed in a foster home in a different community.  This home was filled with unfamiliar things.  Johnny was sent to a new school with a new teacher and new classmates.  Johnny was even assigned to the wrong grade.  After a few months, Johnny was moved again to a new foster home.
Johnny is confused and frightened.  He is having difficulty in school and is acting out.  Through all of this, Johnny remains hopeful he will be returned home.
Johnny just learned that his mother has left the area and is nowhere to be found.  He has shut out the world.  Johnny is so desperate to return home and have a family once again, that he carries a small piece if paper with his mother's disconnected phone number on it.  Johnny calls the number regularly, hoping to hear his mother's voice.

Sarah, Age 3*
Little 3 year old Sara was severely beaten by her mother's boyfriend. Sara's mother, cocaine addicted, was not capable of preventing the beatings.
After repeated incidents and several broken bones, burns, and bruises, a concerned neighbor called the police.
As a result of the investigation, Sara was taken from her mother and put into protective care.
Sara is a frightened and bewildered little girl.  She wonders what she has done to be taken away from Mommy.
